If you haven't already seen, we are happy to announce to you the 50th Candidate Board of STORM. The 50th Board will consist of:

Events For February 2022

Unfortunately at the end of the last year we had to cancel and postpone a couple of the events that we had planned. This included the annual Christmas Dinner. Due to the COVID regulations that were imposed it is very difficult for us to plan any non-educational events on campus. Hopefully soon we will be allowed to plan all of our events again on campus but until then we will still try to plan external events.

ACie - Discord Movie Night

We will be having a movie night on Discord to relax and take a break after the exam period. Hope to see you there!

Valentine's at STORM

Lovers season is getting close, so we thought to provide our STORM members a way to make Valentine's Day more meaningful. Even though sending a message is easier, what’s even more romantic than sending or receiving a love letter?

We made a few easy steps in order for you to tell your crush how you feel, or remind your loved one what they mean for you:

1. Write your love letter the way you want, in order to be sure of making a pleasant surprise
2. Place your love letter in the designated box in the StoKa
3. Write the name of the person who caught your eye
4. Happy V-day! You made somebody smile!

BorrelCie - Valentine's Borrel - TBC

Note: We are waiting for approval from the VU to hold borrels on campus.

Join us for the first borrel of the year and reconnect with all your friends at STORM over a beer.

ACie - Foosball Tournament

STORM will be hosting a foosball tournmanent. Do you have what it takes to be the best? Games will probably take place over a couple of days

AAPPCie - Google Hash Code

Google Hash Code is a team programming competition organized by Google for university students/alumni/staff. We will have a Qualification Round local hub in the VU Transitorium building where participants could enjoy each other's company and competitive atmosphere! Also, there will be free pizza, snacks, and drinks during the competition! Register a team of 2 to 4 at g.co/hashcode and choose "Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam" from the hub list in the system.
